The Meetings

The regular growth group meeting takes place in the home of one of the group members. This happens on a mid-week evening every week or fortnight and may move around from house to house over time. Everyone does not have to make their house available, as it will depend on their circumstances.

As mentioned above, growth groups members belong to different Christian churches and will normally be actively involved in their local church. Growth groups are not intended to be a replacement for church, rather they work alongside local churches to build up the body of Christ.

There should be between four and twelve people on any given group night. Once the numbers get beyond twelve, the group will seek to multiply into two groups.

Occasionally, there is a special 'celebration' meeting where all the groups in an area will come together for worship, teaching and prayer.
